Garage
Sale Winnipegers found all kinds of great bargains at the first annual Chad's Hope Garage Sale for the Cure from fridges and stoves to nik naks. The event raised over $1700.00 for the Chad's Hope Fund. A very special thanks to our Chad's Hope Angel Bonnie, for the use of her home and for organizing this fun and successful event, and to all of the Chad's Hope Committee members, especially Charmaine and Kera, who worked feverishly late into the evenings pricing item and waking early in the morning to prepare and set up for the event. |

Run/Walk
For The Cure Sneakers hit the pavement early Saturday morning as runners took the the winding woodland roads of St. Vital Park. While the runners were making attempts to best their running times, they were also helping raise money for the Chad's Hope Fund. The event sponsored an early morning 10K run and a 3k walk (for those of us who were out of shape). Thanks to Leni, and all the members and non-members who ran and walked for our cause! For

Sale For The Cure
The donations kept coming and the storage space was getting full, so we decided to have another Chad's Hope Garage Sale for the Cure. Those who stopped by got to browse thru second chance offerings and many new items The event raised just over $1200.00 for the Chad's Hope Fund. Once again, a very special thanks to our Chad's Hope Angel Bonnie, for the use of her home and for organizing this fun and successful event. |

Pasta
For The Cure
A taste of Italy came to Oxford Heights in support of the Chad's Hope Fund. Over 210 guests enjoyed a spaghetti feast with salad, complimentary breadsticks, and a special edition of Chad's Hope House Wine. The event raised over $1800 for the Chad's Hope Fund. Special thanks to the Olive Garden and all of those who attended and made this event possible. |

Crafts
For A Cure Although the proceeds from this event were small in comparison to our other events, it was yet another opportunity to educate and make people aware of Batten Disease. Informative pamphlets were handed out to many of those who passed by the table, and we met and spoke with many wonderful people. Special bouquets to those who generously donated the crafts for our table and to the Key Club for helping us sell them. |
