SALE FOR THE CURE A garage sale was held to help raise money for the Chad's Hope fund. Hundreds of Winnipegers from all over the city helped make this event a great success. Thanks to the many who donated items to be sold and a special thanks to Bonnie for the use of her space to store these items. In the legacy of Chad's giving spirit, all those items unsold were graciously donated to good will. |

BINGO
BOWL FOR THE CURE The Chad's Hope Committee kicked off it's first official fundraising event for 2005 at Rossmere Lanes on Saturday, May 7th. 12 ambitious teams of 6 competed against each other in a bingo bowl competition all the while raising funds for the organization. Thanks to all of you who attended and supported Chad's cause. |

The Chad's Hope Committee presented a cheque to Phil Milto, President of Nathan's Battle for $20,000 marking our first real financial contribution to the ongoing fight for a cure. The much needed funds will go towards the ongoing expenses of research and development for a cure, and the ongoing commitment of creating awareness of the disease, and the ongoing support of families afflicted with the disease. |
